PLACES provides model-based, population-level analysis and community estimates of health measures for all counties, incorporated and census-designated places, census tracts, and ZIP Code Tabulation Areas (ZCTAs) across the United States. Learn more about PLACES.



New: Expanded Comparison Report

The PLACES comparison report has expanded beyond county comparisons and now allows users to compare estimates for up to three incorporated or census-designated places (e.g., cities, towns, villages, boroughs). The report can be downloaded as a PDF or CSV.


2023 Release of County Health Rankings & Roadmaps

County Health Rankings & Roadmaps (CHR&R) brings together various data sources, including PLACES data, and includes actions communities can take to promote health.
