Advancing Health Equity through Antimicrobial Stewardship Workshop In-person in Atlanta

On September 6, the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) is hosting Advancing Health Equity Through Antimicrobial Stewardship, a FREE, in-person, one-day educational program at the Loews Hotel in Atlanta, GA. The workshop is open to health professionals from various backgrounds, including inpatient and outpatient clinicians, public and community health leaders, health policymakers, and researchers. Funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the purpose of this workshop is for learners to develop skills in building multidisciplinary partnerships. These new skills will aid in identifying and addressing health inequities as they relate to antibiotic stewardship and antimicrobial resistance. This is an exciting opportunity to learn how you can advance health equity through antibiotic stewardship, while gaining practical skills to apply to your work.
