2024 Child, Adolescent and Adult Immunization Schedule MMWRs Released Today (1/11)

MMWR has published two reports summarizing 2024 updates to CDC Immunization Schedules: Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices Recommended Immunization Schedule for Children and Adolescents Aged 18 Years or Younger —United States, 2024 Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices Recommended Immunization Schedule for Adults Aged 19 Years or Older—United States, 2024 As a reminder, the 2024 Immunization Schedules for Clinicians were published in November 2023. The 2024 Child and Adolescent Immunization Schedule includes new recommendations for: respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) monoclonal antibody, Mpox vaccine, 20-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine, and pentavalent meningococcal vaccine. The 2024 Adult Immunization Schedule includes new recommendations for: respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine, Mpox vaccine, and pentavalent meningococcal vaccine. Both schedules also include updated recommendations for 2023-2024 formula COVID-19 vaccine, influenza vaccines, and inactivated poliovirus vaccine (IPV).
