Prevalence of Diagnosed Arthritis — United States, 2019–2021

February is American Heart Month! A recently published Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report from CDC’s Arthritis Management and Well-Being Program found that 51.5% of U.S. adults with heart disease also have arthritis. Read more. NEW Programs Added to the list of AAEBIs Recognized by CDC

Two new physical activity-focused programs have been identified as Arthritis-Appropriate Evidence-Based Interventions (AAEBIs) by the Osteoarthritis Action Alliance and have been recognized by CDC’s Arthritis Management and Well-Being Program. My Knee Exercise Program & GLA:D ® are newly recognized for their ability to help with effectively managing arthritis related symptoms.
