February is American Heart Month! A recently published Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report from CDC’s Arthritis Management and Well-Being Program found that 51.5% of U.S. adults with heart disease also have arthritis. Read more. NEW Healthy Living with Arthritis Episode

The latest episode of the Healthy Living with Arthritis podcast series is now live! This episode “Tai Chi for Arthritis” focuses on the CDC-recognized arthritis-appropriate, evidence-based intervention by the same name. CDC subject matter expert Audrey Williams discusses the program and offers resources for finding remote and in-person courses near you!

NEW Programs Added to the list of AAEBIs Recognized by CDC

Two new physical activity-focused programs have been identified as Arthritis-Appropriate Evidence-Based Interventions (AAEBIs) by the Osteoarthritis Action Alliance and have been recognized by CDC’s Arthritis Management and Well-Being Program. My Knee Exercise Program & GLA:D ® are newly recognized for their ability to help with effectively managing arthritis related symptoms.
