google-site-verification: googleff0feb90cbe8884d.html PLACES provides model-based, population-level analysis and community estimates of health measures for all counties, incorporated and census-designated places, census tracts, and ZIP Code Tabulation Areas (ZCTAs) across the United States.  Learn more about PLACES. The PLACES team is diligently working on the 2024 data release. All estimates will be based on Census 2020 population counts and geographies.

2024 Release of Chronic Disease Indicators

Chronic disease indicators (CDIs) provide state-level estimates of chronic disease measures that complement local PLACES estimates. Explore health measures across 21 topic areas with 113 measures, including social determinants of health measures. The CDI webtool has been modernized to enhance its key features and functionalities in an easy-to-use, web-based interface for users to query and extract the data needed.

June is National Cancer Survivor, Suicide Prevention, and National Healthy Homes Month  Find related estimates in the PLACES Interactive Map and Data Portal to support your health promotion efforts for these June health awareness observations, including: Cancer (excluding skin cancer). Depression. Mental health not good for ≥14 days. Crowding among housing units (American Community Survey). Housing cost burden among households (American Community Survey).
