PLACES provides model-based, population-level analysis and community estimates of health measures to all counties, places, census tracts, and ZIP Code Tabulation Areas across the United States. Learn more about PLACES.



New Resources Added: How-to Videos

The PLACES Help web page now includes how-to videos and guides with step-by-step instructions on how to use interactive tools and download data for your own use.

Environmental Justice Index Released

CDC/ATSDR released the Environmental Justice Index (EJI). The EJI brings together various data sources, including PLACES data, to rank the cumulative impacts of environmental burden on health for every census tract by using 36 environmental, social, and health factors grouped into 3 overarching modules and 10 different domains.
