Recognizing the Impact of Arthritis Globally

World Arthritis Day is observed every year on October 12th. It’s a day when people around the globe unite in recognizing the existence, severity, and impact of arthritis and other rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases.


In the U.S. alone, arthritis affects 1 in 5 adults. That’s 54 million people! And contrary to the myth, older adults aren’t the only people with arthritis.
