NEW CDC Arthritis Notice of Funding Opportunity NOFO "State Public Health Approaches to Addressing Arthritis" (CDC-RFA-DP-23-0001) is now available. Information from the January 24 informational call is available on the NOFO CDC-RFA-DP-23-0001 web page. The application is due April 3, 2023. National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) FREE Continuing Medical Education Activity In partnership with Medscape Education, NACDD is excited to offer a FREE CME activity – Lifestyle Management Programs for Arthritis: Test Your Knowledge on Evidence-Based Interventions. This activity will help learners self-assess their learning needs related to non-pharmacologic interventions for patients with arthritis and be better able to incorporate arthritis appropriate evidence-based interventions (AAEBIs) into their patients’ treatment plans. This activity is intended for healthcare practitioners (HCPs) who provide care to patients with arthritis, but all HCPs are encouraged to participate. Administration for Community Living (ACL) Fidelity Evaluation of Evidence-Based Programs
ACL has released the findings of an evaluation of its evidence-based, health promotion and disease prevention programs. ACL encourages program developers, funders, grantees, and local delivery organizations to tailor and apply these learnings, practices, and tools in their communities. Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) 2023 Annual Meeting The BRFSS 2023 Annual Meeting this spring will include state and CDC plenary sessions, training, networking, and gatherings to discuss BRFSS business and issues.
