Recognizing the Impact of Arthritis Globally
|
---|
World Arthritis Day is observed every year on October 12th. It’s a day when people around the globe unite in recognizing the existence, severity, and impact of arthritis and other rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases. In the U.S. alone, arthritis affects 1 in 5 adults. That’s 54 million people! And contrary to the myth, older adults aren’t the only people with arthritis. This Saturday, join CDC in its efforts to raise arthritis awareness by sharing the graphics below with the hashtag #WorldArthritisDay. Then learn about Self-Care for Arthritis: Five Ways to Manage Your Symptoms. |
